After breakfast, you set out to explore Delhi a little more closely. The day begins in Old Delhi, where the timeless charm of Jama Masjid, the narrow crowded lanes, and the sheer energy of Chandni Chowk feel almost straight out of a period film. A rickshaw ride through these buzzing bazaars is something most travellers absolutely love, as it lets you slow down and watch the real everyday life of the city from up close. The afternoon shifts to New Delhi, where Raj Ghat — the serene memorial of Mahatma Gandhi — Humayun’s Tomb with its beautiful Mughal gardens, and the towering Qutub Minar surrounded by greenery give you a striking contrast between old and new Delhi. By evening, you can head back to the hotel for some rest, or take a stroll around Connaught Place and wrap up the day with a nice dinner at one of the many cafes or restaurants in the area.

Today you leave Delhi behind and make your way to the city of the Taj Mahal — Agra. After breakfast, you drive down the Yamuna Expressway, which is a smooth and comfortable journey of around 3 to 4 hours with a couple of short tea and refreshment breaks along the way, so it never feels tiring. Upon arriving in Agra, you check into your hotel and take some time to rest and freshen up. As the evening sets in, head over to Mehtab Bagh — a peaceful garden on the other bank of the Yamuna River — where you get one of the most stunning sunset views of the Taj Mahal without the usual crowds. If you enjoy local crafts and shopping, Agra’s famous marble inlay work and leather markets are also worth a short visit before calling it a night.

This is arguably the most memorable day of the entire tour. You wake up early and make your way to the Taj Mahal just as the sun begins to rise. Standing in front of this stunning white marble wonder as the soft morning light slowly falls over it is one of those moments that genuinely stays with you long after the trip is over. After soaking in the magic of the Taj, you head back to the hotel for breakfast and then visit the magnificent Agra Fort, a grand Mughal structure from where you can catch a distant but beautiful view of the Taj Mahal across the river. If time permits, a short visit to Itmad-ud-Daulah, lovingly known as the Baby Taj, or a browse through the local markets is always a great add-on. By midday, you begin your drive towards Jaipur, and if you have a keen interest in history and architecture, an optional stop at Fatehpur Sikri or the stunning Abhaneri Stepwell can make this drive even more enriching. You arrive in the Pink City by evening, check into your hotel, and enjoy a relaxed night. The fifth day begins with a royal Rajasthani feel that Jaipur is truly famous for. Right after breakfast, you head towards the iconic Amber Fort, perched on a hilltop with the surrounding Aravalli hills and valleys making the approach itself incredibly scenic. Inside the fort, walking through the Sheesh Mahal, the open courtyards, and the intricately carved Rajput architecture feels like stepping back into a different era entirely. On the way back, a short photo stop at Jal Mahal — the palace sitting right in the middle of a serene lake — is always a highlight for travellers, as the view is simply stunning. The afternoon takes you through the heart of the old city, where City Palace, Jantar Mantar, and Hawa Mahal with its iconic honeycomb façade are all explored at a comfortable pace. As the evening falls, the old bazaars of Jaipur come alive, offering a wonderful selection of traditional jewellery, colourful fabrics, mojari chappals, and blue pottery — all the kinds of things that make for the most memorable souvenirs to carry back home.

Travellers who enjoy peaceful spiritual spaces often find a visit to Birla Mandir very calming and worth adding to the morning. The afternoon is usually kept free, giving you the flexibility to continue shopping, relax at a rooftop café with a lovely city view, or even join a short heritage walk or a local food tour if you are feeling adventurous. The journey typically takes around 5 to 6 hours with comfortable breaks for tea and refreshments along the way, so it never feels rushed or tiring. If your flight or train is in the late afternoon or evening, we can easily plan a short lunch stop or a scenic photo break on the route to make the most of your remaining time. Upon reaching Delhi, your driver will drop you directly at the Airport, Railway Station, or any pre-decided point, from where you board your onward journey.
