Golden Triangle with Rajasthan Tour

Delhi – Agra – Jaipur – Udaipur – Jodhpur – Jaisalmer – Delhi 11 day

Golden Triangle with Rajasthan Tour blends India’s most iconic first-time circuit—Delhi, Agra, with Rajasthan’s signature experiences in Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer. You see the Taj Mahal, explore grand forts and palaces in the Pink and Blue Cities, and end with desert culture on the Thar’s sand dunes.

This private tour suits travelers who want comfort, flexibility, and a clear plan. You travel with an English-speaking driver in a private vehicle for sightseeing and road transfers, and you can add a professional guide for deeper stories at major monuments. Google’s people-first guidance rewards content that stays clear, specific, and transparent, so this rewrite focuses on what you do each day and what is included in the package.

If you prefer a gentle first experience, visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in the evening for a peaceful introduction to Delhi’s culture. You return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.

After breakfast, start a full-day private sightseeing tour that covers the essential heritage of both Old and New Delhi. Begin in Old Delhi with Jama Masjid, then drive past the Red Fort before taking a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk’s historic lanes.

You then visit Raj Ghat and continue through New Delhi’s grand avenues to see India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and the Parliament House from the outside. In the afternoon, explore landmark sites such as Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, and visit the Lotus Temple if it is open and entry rules allow. Overnight stay in Delhi.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Agra in a private vehicle. On arrival, check in and take a short break so you feel fresh for sightseeing.

Later, visit Agra Fort, a major Mughal-era complex with courtyards and royal halls. Continue to Itmad-ud-Daulah (often called the Baby Taj) for fine marble work, then end the day at Mehtab Bagh for a sunset view of the Taj Mahal from across the river. Overnight stay in Agra.

Start early for the Taj Mahal, when the weather feels cooler and the light looks best for photos. Your guide explains the monument’s story, layout, and the best viewpoints for classic shots.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and check out, then drive to Jaipur. En route, stop at Fatehpur Sikri, known for its Mughal-era red sandstone architecture, and visit Abhaneri Stepwell (Chand Baori) to see its striking geometric design. Arrive in Jaipur, check in, and keep the evening free for rest. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Note: The Taj Mahal remains closed on Fridays, so the plan adjusts if Day 4 falls on a Friday.

After breakfast, begin with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal to capture Jaipur’s most famous façade. Continue to Amber Fort (about 11 km outside the city) and explore its courtyards and architecture at a comfortable pace.

On the way back, stop at Jal Mahal for lakeside photos. Then visit City Palace, a key landmark that reflects Jaipur’s royal heritage, and Jantar Mantar, the astronomical observatory near the palace area. In the evening, spend time in Jaipur’s local bazaars for shopping and local crafts. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

After breakfast, transfer to Jaipur Airport for your flight to Udaipur. On arrival, check in to your hotel and take time to relax after the travel day.

In the evening, you can choose a calm lakeside plan—walk near the lakefront areas and take a boat ride on Lake Pichola (at your own cost, as per your package). Overnight stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast, explore Udaipur’s scenic and cultural highlights. Start with viewpoints and lake experiences such as Fateh Sagar Lake and Maharana Pratap Memorial, then continue to Saheliyon Ki Bari and Nehru Garden.

Visit the Bhartiya Lok Kala Museum for local arts and traditional collections. In the evening, tour the City Palace complex, then visit Jagdish Temple and end with Gulab Bagh if time permits. Overnight stay in Udaipur.

After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur with a scenic stop at Ranakpur Jain Temples in the Aravalli Valley. You explore the temple complex known for detailed marble carving and 1,444 pillars, each carved differently.

Continue to Jodhpur, check in to your hotel, and relax. If you arrive early, you can take a short evening walk or enjoy a rooftop view of the fort area. Overnight stay in Jodhpur.

After breakfast, begin half-day sightseeing in Jodhpur. Visit Mehrangarh Fort, one of the city’s top attractions, then see Jaswant Thada, a calm marble memorial site. Continue to Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum (where open) for royal-era collections.

After sightseeing, drive to Jaisalmer and check in on arrival. Keep the evening free for shopping in local markets or resting before the desert day. Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

After breakfast, visit Jaisalmer Fort (Sonar Kila / Golden Fort), famous for its golden limestone look. Continue to the city’s iconic havelis—Patwon Ki Haveli, Nathmal Ki Haveli, and Salim Singh Ki Haveli—known for detailed craftsmanship and heritage architecture.

Later, visit Gadisar Lake for relaxed views and photos. In the evening, head to Sam Sand Dunes for a camel ride and sunset over the Thar Desert. You can also enjoy a cultural program and dinner. You stay overnight in a desert tent camp or a hotel in Jaisalmer (as per your choice).
